What this site does, and what it doesn’t.
CT Home Repair is the home-repair service from Constractiva, operating in the Los Angeles area. Reach us at contact@constractiva.com.
The estimate is an estimate
The repair time you see here is generated from what you describe, by software. It is not a quote, not a price, not an appointment and not a promise that anybody will come. No visit is arranged and nothing is charged. The real time and the real cost are settled on site, with a person, before any work starts.
Booking will happen in the CT Home Repair app. Until then, “Continue in the app” opens a preview page and nothing more — it does not open a store and it does not make a booking.
Emergencies are not our job
If you describe something dangerous — a smell of gas, carbon monoxide, fire or smoke, sparking or burning electrics, something about to collapse — the site stops and tells you to call the emergency services. That stop is a courtesy, not a safety system: it can miss things, and it is never a substitute for your own judgement. In an emergency, call 911. Do not wait for a website.
Your account
One account covers this site and the CT Home Repair app. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. Give us details that are true — an address that isn’t yours sends a real person to a real door. We can close an account that is used to abuse the service or anybody working for it.
What you send us
Send photos of your own property, or of a property you are entitled to have repaired. Don’t send anything unlawful, and don’t send other people’s personal information. You keep ownership of what you send; you give us permission to use it to answer your request and to carry out the work.
Applying to work with us
Sending the application form is an application. It is not an offer of work, not a booked assessment and not a promise of earnings. The team reads it and comes back to you.
Availability and changes
This site may be unavailable, and features may change or be withdrawn. The repair-time estimate in particular depends on a third-party service that can be slow or down, in which case the estimate simply won’t be produced.
Limits
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the strength of an estimate produced here — it is a starting point for a conversation, not professional advice about your home. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited.
