This page describes how the site works today. If anything here is unclear or you want your information removed, write to contact@constractiva.com.

The short version

• We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. There are no third-party trackers on this site.
• The repair-time estimate doesn’t require an account and isn’t saved to one.
• You only give us a name, a phone number and an address if you choose to create an account.
• Nothing you type here is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.

Getting a repair-time estimate

To answer questions about your repair we send what you wrote, your ZIP code and any photos you attached to our own server, and from there to the AI provider that generates the questions and the estimate. Photos are re-encoded before they go anywhere: they are converted to JPEG, resized, and their metadata — including any location recorded by your camera — is discarded.

The conversation lives in your browser for the length of the session and in a short-lived cache on our server (one hour). An example estimate is not filed, not reviewed by anybody and not linked to you. Closing the tab or choosing “Try another problem” ends it.

Your browser holds an anonymous session identifier so our server can tell one visitor from another and apply rate limits. It is not a person, it is not shared, and clearing your site data removes it.

If you create an account

An account here is the same account as the CT Home Repair app. We store your email address, your password (hashed, never in readable form) and the name you give. When you complete your details we also store your phone number, your address and anything you add about the property — the gate code, where to park, where the problem is — because that is what somebody coming to your home needs.

If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address, your name and an identifier for your account. We never receive your Google password. Google’s own handling of that sign-in is covered by their privacy policy, not ours.

When you book your first repair, your contact details are copied into the scheduling system the technicians work from, so that the person arriving knows where they are going.

If you apply to be a field agent

Your application — your experience, trades, area, availability, the free-text answers and any photos — is stored and read by the team who decides on it. It stays until you ask us to delete it.

Who else sees any of this

• Our AI provider, for the text and photos of the repair you describe, in order to generate the questions and the estimate.
• Google, if — and only if — you choose “Continue with Google”.
• Our hosting and email providers, which is how any website reaches you at all.

That is the whole list. No advertisers, no data brokers, no analytics companies.

How long we keep it

Example estimates: not kept. Accounts and applications: until you ask us to delete them, or until they are no longer needed for work you asked us to do. Email us and we will tell you exactly what we hold on you, and remove it.

Children

This site is for adults arranging repairs on a home. It is not intended for children.

Changes

If what the site does changes, this page changes with it. Ask us for the previous wording at any time.
